Arrival

This is not simply a trip through Romania.

It is arriving gently in Bucharest, with space to rest after UPW or your own travels.

It is beginning the next day with Cișmigiu Garden, the Palace of Parliament, and a welcome dinner.

It is entering royal Sinaia, medieval Sighișoara, and mountain-framed Brașov.

It is wearing black at Vlad Dracul's House and white above Brașov.

It is returning to Bucharest around noon, with the option to unwind at Therme and stay one airport-side night.

Romania gives us the setting.

Arrival Day in Bucharest

A soft landing day designed to help everyone arrive, rest, and prepare for the first full group day.

Arrive in Bucharest, check into the hotel, unpack, rest, and begin easing into the rhythm of Romania at your own pace.

Some of us are arriving late on the night of September 6 into the early morning of September 7 because we are coming from Unleash the Power Within in Cologne, Germany.

This arrival day is intentionally spacious so travelers can settle in and prepare for Day 2.

Welcome to Bucharest

A gentle first full day designed to help everyone settle in, connect, and integrate their experience from Unleash the Power Within.

After the arrival night, we begin together in Bucharest with time to refresh, walk through Cișmigiu Garden, and visit the Palace of Parliament with its official guides.

We will enjoy a relaxed introduction to Bucharest, a UPW integration and group connection experience, personal intentions for the journey ahead, and an introduction to the Romania Journey activities, journals, and challenges.

We gather for our first special dinner together and officially begin our Heart of Romania experience.

Discovering Bucharest

Our private guide, Alexandru Filip, will introduce us to the history, culture, and energy of Romania's capital city.

The day is expected to include Calea Victoriei, the Romanian Athenaeum, Revolution Square, Bucharest Old Town, and important historical and cultural landmarks.

There will be time to explore, take photographs, enjoy the atmosphere of the city, and experience group connection and reflection moments throughout the day.

Royal Romania & Medieval Sighișoara

After breakfast, we leave Bucharest and begin our journey into the heart of Romania.

We travel through the Romanian countryside to the mountain town of Sinaia, explore the magnificent Peleș Castle, make time for photographs and lunch, and continue through Transylvania toward Sighișoara.

During the journey, we will enjoy music, meaningful conversations, interactive activities, and plenty of laughter and connection. After arriving in Sighișoara, we check into our hotel and take time to refresh before a special evening inside the medieval citadel.

Sighișoara to Brașov

We begin the morning by exploring one of Europe's most beautifully preserved medieval towns before continuing to Brașov.

Our guided Sighișoara experience may include the Citadel, Clock Tower, Covered Stairway, colorful medieval streets, historic buildings, local stories, legends, cultural history, and free time for photographs, shopping, and exploration.

Afterward, we continue to Brașov. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and explore the charming Old Town, Council Square, the famous Black Church, colorful streets, cafés, shops, and mountain atmosphere.

Legends & Mountain Views

Our final guided day with Alexandru takes us deeper into the legends and natural beauty of Transylvania.

We visit Bran Castle, famously associated with the legend of Dracula, explore Bran Village, and make time for lunch, local shopping, and photographs before returning to Brașov.

The day continues into Poiana Brașov, where we take the cable car, enjoy the mountain scenery, capture beautiful group photographs, and share final guided experiences with Alexandru.

Back to Bucharest

After breakfast, we check out of our Brașov hotel and begin our scenic return journey to Bucharest, arriving back around noon.

If you are departing on September 12, please book your flight for the afternoon so there is enough space in the day for the return drive.

After arriving in Bucharest, you may spend a relaxing afternoon at Therme Bucharest as an optional experience, with warm thermal pools, palm trees, tropical surroundings, relaxation areas, saunas, and wellness experiences.

Those who want to continue the journey with us may reserve one night at our airport hotel. The airport hotel includes breakfast and airport shuttle.

The itinerary returns to Bucharest around noon.
